On the Water

Round Lake spans 46 acres and is relatively small, however, it is an all-sports lake so residents have the freedom to enjoy the water however they choose.

Anglers can expect to find bluegill, crappie, northern pike, and small and largemouth bass.

There is also some beautiful wildlife that makes the lake their home. Swans, mallards, and wood ducks frequent the lake.

This fun and educational attraction is a great way to spend an afternoon when you’re not on the water. Sea Life Aquarium is also only 30 minutes away. This aquarium has great reviews and is home to a large variety of fresh and saltwater fish, complete with an underwater tunnel.

A great outing for a summer day is Bald Mountain State Recreation Area. Located less than half an hour north and one of the many parks in this area, Bald Mountain boasts 4,637 acres full of trails for hiking and biking, lakes, picnic areas, and even a shooting range. There are also cabins available for rental on the property.
